ActiveSynC connection failure with Win7 or 8

 

According to enhanced network security on Win7 and 8, PC sometime blocks synchronization with M3 WM devices.

In this case, please uncheck 'Enable advanced network functionality' in Connections -> USB-PC

 

 

As a default the usb connection protocol is RNDIS as the ethernet frame (network layer) but this is restricted by VPN, firewall etc.

So if you uncheck the advanced network, the interface`s changed as PPP serial frame(data layer), it`s more free from above obstacles.

 

* M3 ORANGE+ and M3 BLACK has the option unchecked by default.
